BATH + BODY FUSION’S (AND MY) STORY

Bath + Body Fusion started as all the best things do–in Grandma’s kitchen.  After having not one, but two of my siblings, sustain Traumatic Brain Injuries in separate automobile accidents, I was left profoundly depressed.  I was a single mom working in Corporate America. I had grown to hate it! Long hours away from my son and the rest of my family, who needed me more then ever made me miserable!  I knew I needed to make a big change or I’d succumb to the darkness of my increasing severe depression. My focus turned to finding a hobby that would distract me and lift my spirits. 

I’d always loved bath and body products, however, I couldn’t afford to pay the $30-$40 cost for a decent body scrub. After extensive researching and experimenting, I developed my own natural bath and body products at a cost most anyone could afford.

In 2011, I started selling my products at Rockford City Market, a small vendor farmer’s market that was just starting to gain popularity in Downtown Rockford, Illinois. With Grandma’s kitchen as home base, I created everything from decadent bath bombs to deliciously scented scrubs and creams.  At the market, I quickly developed regular customers– many of whom became my most loyal cheerleaders who spread the word about my bath and body product line.  More and more customers returned weekly to seek out new indulgences and purchase their favorite products.

On a personal level, I started to rediscover a love of life again and found joy connecting with the customers I was helping to look and feel their best. It wasn’t long until the demand became so great that I opened my own storefront so that customers could find their favorite products (and an ever-growing amount of new products!) year-round. 

We continue to hear from our customers how much they enjoy using Bath + Body Fusion products.  However, none quite so profoundly as our Dream Cream! Our Dream Cream’s quickly gaining fame from users all over the nation, who have told us that this product is having a profound impact on skin issues like eczema, psoriasis, burns, stretch marks and scarring–even old scars.  It’s our hope to share those stories with others suffering from similar skin issues.

As we get closer to celebrating 10 years in business, you’ll still find all of our original Bath & Body Fusion favorites along with a host of new products and scents.  We hope you’ll feel the love, joy and hope that we pour into every single B+BF product in the store.
